With ds #1, i lost all my baby weight (plus a little) after a month. and that was not doing any exercise or being careful what i ate.
and ds *adores* riding on the back of my bike; shame he's outgrown the seat.
anyone tried the bike shop by costco's? they let you rent bikes to try them out... so you can see if your butt looks hot enough. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23687811.post-70597198005941144302008-03-11T14:36:00.000-04:002008-03-11T14:36:00.000-04:00I can't believe that you haven't purchased a bike ...I can't believe that you haven't purchased a bike yet!!!! They're rarely over $200 and though you'd never race one of those babies, they get you from A to B.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07850950399622401385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23687811.post-66394286292301934052008-03-10T09:53:00.000-04:002008-03-10T09:53:00.000-04:00I, too, would like a bike. But, as soon as my 30 lbs magically falls out of me (yes, I do plan on giving birth to a 30 lb baby and losing all my weight immediately in the hospital), I will still want this bike. So, please do not give up your search. I would like to benefit from your perfect find and get the same one (or at least ask you questions so you can feel cool).kajalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09869228003661419716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23687811.post-77235588453613239562008-03-10T09:50:00.000-04:002008-03-10T09:50:00.000-04:00I was in the same boat last year, and then I decid...I was in the same boat last year, and then I decided to forget the whole thing and get a gym membership. Sure, most have a bent wheel, but think of the extra calories you will burn dragging that hunk of rusting metal around town...Tarashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14984820858237567355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23687811.post-89953777828326680942008-03-08T15:48:00.000-05:002008-03-08T15:48:00.000-05:00When you find this wonderful bike, let me know. On the bike path that leads right there!

You should go to Tony's on 23rd, ask them a bunch of questions and then buy it somewhere else for cheaper. Unless they're super nice or offer you a great deal. Of the two, extremely crappy is worse. If you get sold too much bike, your largest risk might be cycling away from lanky, sinewy men on similarly priced bicycles. (Which maybe is undesirable?)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
